Sunflower Opens La Quinta on Troost Avenue

Our team was attracted to Troost Avenue after speaking with Truman Medical Center CEO John Bluford, who pointed out the lack of quality hotel options for those visiting friends and family in the hospital. 

Bringing this hotel online was far from easy, however. Troost Avenue has historically been associated with Kansas bet365 best casino gamesCity’s racial divide and the resulting stigma has kept many developers and investors from the neighborhood. Still, we knew the area had immense potential and that a hotel would be successful here. 

The hotel opened earlier this month and we could not be more thrilled with the reception from the community.
